by posted 11/20/2018

Franklin County Hockey Association is proud to host its Learn to Skate program each Saturday at 11:00 AM.  Aimed at children ages 14 and under, Learn to Skate provides a low pressure, fun way to experience ice skating.

Sessions meet each Saturday from now through March 2 from 11:00-11:50 AM at Collins-Moylan Arena in Greenfield.  The cost is $5 per week and skates and helmets are provided if needed. Each week will feature instruction and free time so kids can learn in both a structured and unstructured way.

Registration takes place inside the Collins-Moylan Arena lobby each Saturday.

Franklin County Hockey Association is the county's only youth hockey association and is an affiliate of USA Hockey and Mass Hockey.  FCHA has over 150 participating children that reside in towns of Franklin County and beyond.  FCHA travel teams participate in the Greater Springfield League along with other youth hockey associations in Western Massachusetts and Southern Vermont. FCHA also hosts introductory ice hockey programs all at Collins-Moylan Arena in Greenfield.  FCHA is run completely by volunteers on and off the ice.
