FCHA Learn to Skate - Meets each Saturday at 11:00 AM

FCHA Learn to Skate begins Saturday, November 18 and will meet each Saturday at 11:00 am at Collins-Moylan Arena in Greenfield.

For $5.00 per week, children of all ages can try ice skating with no long term commitment.  FCHA provides skates and helmets as available and on-ice instruction.

For kids learning to skate skating aids are provided to help build confidence as they learn the fundamentals of skating.  

You can register as a walk on prior to any session in the main lobby of the arena.

FCHA introductory programs including Learn to Skate, Intro to Hockey and Jr. House League are underway.

Learn to Skate will be held on Saturday mornings from November 18 through March 3.  This program costs $5 per week and skates and helmets are provided as needed.  Instruction is provided by FCHA coaches.  

 

FCHA Intro to Hockey will meet on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons from November 18 through March 3.  Intro to Hockey focuses teaching the basics of skating, stickhandling, passing and shooting.  The biggest focus is on FUN!  Through a grant this program will be free to first year players and for returning players the fee is $249 plus USA Hockey registration. 

 

FCHA Jr. House League is for players ages 12 and under and will meet on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. Jr. House League features cross ice games on Saturdays and a practice each Sunday.  Focus is on skating, stickhandling, passing and shooting.  The biggest focus is on FUN!  Through a grant the program will be free to first year players and for returning players the fee is $249 plus USA Hockey registration.

For Intro to Hockey and Jr. House League FCHA is proud to offer its loaner equipment program.  For a fully refundable deposit of $150 players may use skates, shin guards, pants, shoulder pads, elbow pads, helmets and a hockey bag for the entire season.  This program takes the equipment cost out of the youth hockey equation and makes it easier for families to give ice hockey a try.
